That business is AkzoNobel. Home to world class products, we have been awarded Top Employer status and are recognised globally for being first with ideas, driving innovation and delivering innovative products all of which allow us to build successful partnerships with customers.

Whatever project you are involved in you will need to plan your weekly work, maintain the highest safety standards in the lab and follow established procedures. You will also ensure all results are accurately recorded, carry out preliminary analysis of data, make recommendations for next steps and communicate key results to colleagues across the organisation.
To succeed, you will ideally possess a degree in chemistry or a relevant industrial background, coupled with experience of laboratory working involving designing and documenting experiments. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to prioritise and multitask. Good at building relationships and solving problems, you will also enjoy collaborative working and understand the importance of operating safely. A driving licence would be useful too.
