We are now looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Manager to develop and sustain a world class CI culture across our Deeside manufacturing site.

As Continuous Improvement Manager you will embed a true CI mindset across all operational areas by promoting and instilling a passion for continuous improvement in our daily operation. As a member of the Site Management Team your end goal will be to improve our operations against Key Performance Indicators. You will support colleagues by building organisational capabilities, improving site performance, driving and overseeing the improvement portfolio as well as implementing business CI initiatives too. You will help develop local capabilities in applying continuous improvement tools and methods coaching as well as provide coaching support to drive CI activities. Critically, you will oversee key CI projects, taking responsibility for scoping, project assignment, resource planning, progress tracking and delivery. You will also network across the AkzoNobel CI community to share insights, problems and opportunities as well as promote improved performance and problem-solving company wide.

Of graduate calibre, you will have worked in a senior level manufacturing role, and gained experience of leading and delivering CI programmes. You must have knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six

Sigma or TPM. An effective coach, you will also possess excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills. You will enjoy a collaborative and supporting work environment too. Customer focused, you will be highly organised and good at resolving problems. Ideally you will be black belt (or equivalent) trained.
