Warehouse Operative (FTC, 12 Months) – Basingstoke

Job Description

Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative, you will ensure all goods in products are checked and put away in the correct location. You will also collate and assemble all customer orders, ensuring they are picked accurately and efficiently to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently in order to meet delivery cut-off times.
• Carry out paint mixing.
• Ensure computer systems are kept up to and all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Support the rest of the team in answering the phone or serving on counter as required.
• Maintain stock, Warehouse, Trade Counter and display areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Ensure Company Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet pick requirements to ensure customer orders are ready on time!
• Organised approach to work including ability to work alone on your task as directed.
• Good communication skills
• I.T literate.
