About The Role

We are looking for a strategic Head of Commercial to lead our UK sales organisation and drive growth and profitability. This role involves developing and executing commercial strategies, managing key account partnerships, and optimising team performance to achieve channel and group objectives. You will have ownership of the UK Sales Function, comprising Field Sales, Aftermarket, Key Accounts, OEM, Solution Sales, Market Development and Contract growth. As a key member of the Channel leadership team, you will also be responsible for the execution of Domino Global strategies blended with local operational initiatives within the UK market.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Create, articulate and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and maximise profitability.
  • Use business and market intelligence to support strategy, sales planning, and team performance and identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Lead the sales function to ensure optimal sales performance, results, and behaviour in line with Channel objectives.
  • Demonstrate contemporary, effective leadership in all aspects of people management, acting as a role model and thought leader to encourage team behaviour where ‘leadership in role’ can be seen across the sales function.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in a commercial role, operating within a business-to-business environment. You will be managing a team of multi-disciplinary experts and will need to encourage collaboration within the UK Channel and across the wider organisation.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Experience of planning, targeting, and achieving quantifiable results.
  • An inquisitive nature and a desire to seek out opportunities for improvement
  • An interest in coaching and developing others
  • The ability to see the bigger picture when balancing the needs of the business, the customer, and individual’s target
