Step into the role of a Retail Sales Consultant (known internally as a Territory Sales Consultant) and become a driving force behind the sales and product awareness of our world-renown products in your local B&Q stores.

This dynamic role covers the South East covering Trowbrige, Witney, Swindon, Chippenham and Devizes stores . We’re looking for someone who lives in these areas. Are you a sales superstar with retail sales or service experience? Have you coached or mentored others? If so, this position is tailor-made for you!

As a Territory Sales Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our brand’s success in your local B&Q stores. Your main tasks will be:

  • Forge Strong Connections: Build powerful selling relationships with store associates, store management, and other key customer contacts.
  • Lead Engaging Training Sessions: Conduct dynamic product knowledge training sessions for all B&Q store teams. Your training will cover features, benefits, selling skills, and may include exciting product demos.
  • Champion the Brand: Be the face of our brand, continually promoting and showcasing our product strengths to B&Q store teams and consumers.
  • Spot and Seize Opportunities: Identify opportunities for service enhancements and upselling, maximizing store-level resources with innovative solutions.
  • Create Eye-Catching Displays: Ensure store signage, merchandising displays, color chip, and color card stock are always on point.
  • Leverage Technology: Use the CRM system to meticulously document sales calls and store visits, keeping everything organized and efficient.
  • Host Exciting Events: Plan and execute events that promote our products and boost sales, creating buzz and excitement.
  • Drive In-Store Success: Ensure all in-store activations and business activities are executed flawlessly, making every store visit a success.

What You Will Bring:

  • Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, or Merchandising Experience: You’ve got a knack for connecting with people and driving results.
  • Coaching and Mentoring Skills: You love helping others grow and succeed.
  • Retail Experience: You know the ins and outs of the retail world.
  • Flexibility: You’re ready to work a varied schedule, including at least two Saturdays a month and bank holidays. You will have Christmas off!
  • Valid Driver’s License: Essential for the role, as you’ll be on the move to your local stores.
