Trainee Production Operator

We need you to join the team and deliver production performance targets by efficiently operating our plant’s production equipment to meet customer schedules.

As a Production Operator you will manufacture products using equipment in compliance with defined standard operating processes and procedures. This will involve identifying, weighing and measuring out the raw materials required. Important will be the ability to follow HSE&S practices and processes as well as ensure product is delivered on-time. We will look to you to ensure equipment is running in the proper condition and operated correctly as well as produce product by following batch recipe data and instructions. You will also support site efforts to create a culture of functional and operational excellence.

For this role you will need good grades in GCSE Maths and English as well as the ability to follow processes and procedures. A team player, you will enjoy operating in a collaborative environment and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. IT literate you will also be flexible to work a shift system including nights and weekends. You will need to be physically fit too, as manual handling is needed in this role. Critically, you will possess the willingness and ability to learn to meet the requirements of our onsite training validation programme before becoming a Production Operator.

A FLT driver license is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
