About the role
We’re hiring Test Technicians to join our Bar Hill Operations team. Our team of Test Technicians ensure Domino Printers are configured and tested to the appropriate standards for our customers. We’ve adopted a continuous improvement culture and in this role you’ll contribute to continuous improvements in the area. The products you will be working on are varied, ranging from continuous inkjet, outer case coding to digital printing. We’ll be asking you to be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and process effectiveness is used when working on printers from different product groups and you’ll provide technical support to test areas when required. You will work with the team to ensure Domino Printers are configured and tested to the appropriate standards using excellent fault finding and problem-solving. Shift working may be required.
About you
Candidates with mechanical assembly & test experience would be suitable for this role. Ideally with a HNC in Engineering or equivalent and preferably at least 1 year’s test experience in similar environment. Alternatively, applicants could be considered without academic qualification with proven test experience. Experience of working with wiring diagrams would be advantageous. Candidates who would be successful in this team and role would be a good team players, well organised and with excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates will need to be prepared to work with solvents.
