Job Overview

Summary:

  • As a Territory Manager you will maximise sales and profit for our independent and large scale outlets (trade, retail and automative brands) with designated customers in your sales territory.
  • Home based – opportunities in London, Surry, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Cambridge areas

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on delivering volume, sales, margin, and cash collection targets as well as developing new business opportunities
  • Maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods as well as quality of service
  • Build strong customer relationships and execute sales plans, marketing initiatives, new product launches, promotions and more to grow profitability
  • Review our brand presence and maintain our brand leadership status by regularly merchandising our products to gain maximum awareness in store

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to deliver customer service levels that ensure the market continues to use AkzoNobel products above all others
  • Good at building relationships at all levels
  • Possess excellent communication and financial skills
  • Understanding of category management
  • Eye for effective merchandising
  • Self-motivated, excel at achieving targets
  • Resilient in negotiations
  • Passionate about excellence and deliver on commitments
  • Full driving license required

Job Detail
  • Salary£30,000 - £36,500 based on experience plus bonus, company car, fuel card, 25 days holiday, pension, staff discounts and flexible benefits package
  • ExperienceExperience in sales/account management within a FMCG or relevant sales environment and have a focus on continuous improvement to business processes and performance
