Key Accountabilities
As a Distributor Territory Manager, you will maximize sales and profit for our independent and large scale outlets (trade, retail and automotive brands) with designated customers in your sales territory. As part of this exciting role you will focus on delivering volume, sales, margin & cash collection targets as well as developing new business opportunities. This will involve maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods as well as quality of service. You will build strong customer relationships and execute sales plans, marketing initiatives, new product launches, promotions and more to grow profitability. You will review our brand presence and maintain our brand status by regularly merchandising our products to gain maximum awareness in store. Important will be the ability to deliver customer service levels that ensure the market continues to use AkzoNobel products above all others.
Experience
You will have gained experience in sales / account management within a FMCG / relevant sales environment and have a focus on continuous improvement to enhance business processes and performance. You will be good at building relationships at all levels and possess excellent communication and financial skills. You will have an understanding of category management and an eye for effective merchandising. Self-motivated, you excel at achieving targets and are resilient in negotiations. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
A full driving license is required to carry out the duties of this role.
