A graduate in a scientific discipline, you are looking to develop your career in a business that offers roles with breadth, depth of scope and impact. That business is AkzoNobel. Home to world class products, we have been awarded Top Employer status and are recognised globally for being first with ideas, driving innovation and delivering innovative products all of which allow us to build successful partnerships with customers.

Whatever project you are involved in you will need to plan, conduct and evaluate trials as well as use best practice to design, execute, study and interpret experiments for review. Important will be the ability to maintain the highest safety standards in the lab and follow established procedures.
To succeed, you will possess a degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific subject and you will also have some experience of laboratory working. Relevant industrial experience would be a benefit but is not essential. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to prioritise and multitask. Good at building relationships and solving problems, you will enjoy being part of a team and understand the importance of working safely too.
