As a Technical Sales and Service Representative, you will be responsible for key commercial segments spanning Collision, Commercial Transport and Light Industrial Coatings, to both maintain our current customer base, whilst driving and winning new business.
This is Regional role covering the Midlands, therefore extensive travel should be expected.
- Implement a Technical Sales plan for the geographical region to ensure existing customer base is retained and supported within the assigned segments in both wet paint and dry goods.
- Run your Vantage Point Sales pipeline, ensuring focused and pro-active updates in accordance with the agreed targets.
- Supporting key accounts to ensure that we deliver our proposition, retain sales and grow share of wallet, ensuring that the area sales budgets are achieved.
- Minimise customer churn and negotiate the retention of existing customers to meet net sales targets.
- Deliver growth via both direct and indirect distribution channels ensure a balanced approach in line with our strategy.
- Supporting and carrying out demonstrations, trials and installations of new wins in focus segments.
- Supporting the wider PPG technical sales team on large/cross regional installs and key projects as required.
- Be a self-motivated sales professional with previous experience in a sales or technical role within the Coatings industry.
- Have a commercial focus, with the ability to discover customers’ needs to sell product directly into the market place.
- Possess excellent organisational skills to compile information for assessment and monitoring of sales and account performance.
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Be self-motivated, energetic and pro-active, with a willingness to collaborate and a one team spirit.
- Hold a full and valid Driving Licence.
