About the Role
This role will be responsible for Material Availability, Planning and Inventory for the UK Fluids Operation based in Liverpool. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage, coach and develop your teams within Production Planning, Purchase and Inventory
- Measure report and achieve KPIs including Supplier Deliveries, OTIF, Planning, Cycle Count Accuracy, Stock Write Offs, Capacity Monitoring and Utilisation
- Ensure a consistent supply of direct materials to support production operations and maintain inventory accuracy
- Execute cross functional projects to drive a reduction WIP variance
- Establish processes that improve cycle count accuracy
- Develop and publish global process toolkits as a key process owner, driving improvements to achieve operational efficiencies
- Support development and implementation of new ERP platform for core functional areas
- Ensure all SHEQ systems are adhered to and full support is given to the site and group SHEQ strategy
Aviation Security
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will need Aviation Security Clearance. Therefore Aviation Background checks as specified by the Civil Aviation Authority – including a DBS check and 5 years’ employment/educational references – will need to be completed before the successful candidate can start the role.
About You
You will be degree or HND educated in a subject related to manufacturing, chemicals, inks or associated fluids and will be CIPS qualified or currently working towards this qualification.
You will have significant supply chain management experience and knowledge within a chemical manufacturing environment. You should be passionate about our customers (internal and external), people and processes with a strong desire to continuously develop and improve manufacturing methods within a challenging working environment.
You will be competent in all Microsoft office packages and ERP systems such as Oracle (preferred), SAP or other similar systems and you should have advanced excel skills. You will have the ability to effectively multitask difficult operations, thinking creatively to solve problems and have the tenacity to drive through to a solution.
