Fine Decor Wallcoverings Ltd is a leading Wallcoverings Manufacturer based in Congleton, Cheshire. We have recently undertaken a site relocation that has seen significant investment and have new owners who are looking to grow the business.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Wallpaper Designer to join our enthusiastic design team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the wallpaper industry.

The role is for a highly creative and organised individual who will work on a successful leading UK retail account, managing and creating new product design development.

Other key duties will include:

• Managing a successful leading UK retail account
• Constantly reviewing the market to keep abreast of competition
• Presenting trend research and market analysis of home decor sector
• Develop and present on trend commercial design concepts for customer range reviews
• Designing and colouring artworks using AVA software
• Managing workload to a set customer critical path
• Sourcing and actioning product development samples
• Liaising with suppliers
• Attending overseas trade shows

Essential skills required by the successful candidate:

• Team player with Commercial awareness & attention to detail
• Creative flair and passion for wallpaper and home furnishings
• Strong skills in AVA and Adobe software
• Experience working with suppliers and the manufacturing process
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in the industry
• Highly organised and proactive
• Excellent presentation skills
