With this we see an opportunity to both align and strengthen our approach to rewards globally. In this position we offer you the opportunity to lead global reward initiatives and processes to support attracting and retaining the employees needed to drive our new corporate strategy and support a sustainable and inclusive work place.One of your key projects will be to develop Hempel’s global benefit strategy and the roadmap to transition from its current state to the aspired future state, in close collaboration with team colleagues, Group Insurance, HR Business Partners and our Diversity and Inclusion team. This includes testing new approaches to flexible benefits in selected countries, to support our strong focus on diversity and inclusion.It is key that our reward policies, processes and programmes are designed so that they are compelling, competitive, and utilize knowledge of an ever-changing talent landscape. You will be instrumental in ensuring this. We need you to identify trends and market needs, and continually bring new ideas forward so that Hempel is meeting the needs of our employees.Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead all activities related to deciding on Hempel’s global benefit approach which includes a decision on how Hempel should be positioned on benefits globally to align with our values as well as from a total reward perspective taking into account, different segments, life stages and populations to offer them the right level of choice with consistency globally with the aim to maximize employee appreciation while considering costs
- Lead the global benefit activities together with Group Insurance and external benefit provider related to transitioning from a current state to intended future state
- Lead design of selected global reward and recognition initiatives to support an inclusive work place, drive motivation and optimizing the spend on rewards
- Use analytics to understand perceived value of initiatives and adoption rates
- Leverage technology to gain a level of centralized strategic oversight
- Act as subject matter expert on benefit and recognition as part of total rewards agenda
- Drive selected annual rewards processes
- Lead all communications and interactions with the global P&C community and key stakeholders for the projects which you are responsible for
We believe you are most likely to succeed in this role if you have a relevant academic background at Master level or higher, 6+ years of experience from a global organisation, or as a consultant, focusing on rewards, and have been managing global reward projects.Furthermore We Imagine You To

- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of how rewards can bring value to an organization
- Thrive with complexity and navigating in a large organization
- Understand how to plan and communicate change effectively, and engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
