Paragon Inks (Holdings) Ltd are a developer, manufacturer and market leader of high

We are now recruiting a Research and Development Chemist on a permanent basis.
The role will be innovation focussed, with responsibilities including: development of
high performance polymer systems as well as our core business of UV curable inks and
coatings. Working with customers to achieve operational excellence and solve any
problems. Improving current products and liaising with our raw material suppliers to
test and identify the best raw materials for each development. You will also be
responsible for providing Quality Control and manufacture with all information and the
support necessary to produce efficiently.

The work is varied so, a candidate who is able to work as a team or by themselves is
required. Accurate maintenance of records and information is also an important
function.

Knowledge of polymers is an advantage but not essential as training is provided. A
successful candidate must be able to plan and organise allocated projects.

Qualifications and experience – A degree in chemistry or polymer related technology is
preferred. Candidates with experience in the printing inks industry will also be
considered.
