Job Overview
  • Internship opportunities within our business are geared towards providing you with a challenging experience
  • Working as part of a team on 'real life' projects, you'll be mentored by experienced professionals

  • Day to day you will support the execution of R&D technical projects for the benefit of our decorative paints business
  • We have a broad range of roles available including fast paced product development, latex research, and colour science
  • We will consider you skills and interests to carefully match you to a role so your full potential can be met
  • All roles involve following standard procedure to complete projects to agreed schedules as well as writing basic test reports and presenting findings
  • Appropriate training will be provided on theory, equipment and software to enable you to succeed in your project
  • Minimum 300 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • Be a high achiever, expecting a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent on a course that offers you the option of taking a year in industry
  • Degree subject area should be relevant such as Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science or Colour Physics
  • Good at following procedures and working safely
  • Strong PC skills
  • Eye for detail
  • Effective team worker
  • Someone who has ideas and the energy and determination to make them happen, someone who wants to work in an international environment and find solution to the big challenges facing the world

  • Salary£15,840 per annum plus relocation allowance
