Job Title: R&D Chemist
Reports to: R&D Group Leader, Fire Protection
Mission Of The Role
To develop innovative and effective products/solutions. Be accountable for the planning and execution of projects and/or the solution of problems of minimal to moderate complexity.
Essential Responsibilities
Establishes own timeline with minimal changes
Demonstrates broader knowledge pertinent to role
Designs and executes experiments
Begins to act as a technical resource to other employees in terms of project management
Capable of completing project from start to finish
Performs technically-based investigations and begins to leverage knowledge from background research
Demonstrates critical thinking skills, recognizes anomalies, but may need further coaching or direction
Demonstrates a personal commitment to the team by helping/assisting other employees
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:
Minimum BSc/MSc in Chemistry or Equivalent
Experience of Protective Coatings
Driving Licence
Personal Qualities And Behaviours
Innovative Thinker
Team Player
Confident communicator
