CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Complies and analyses data, reviewing processes and operations, and developing reports detailing findings and recommendations.

Provides Site Managers with inventory analysis and recommended process improvements to meet Site demands.

Prepares purchasing orders.

Identifies and communicates projected raw material needs and constraints to Site management and works collaboratively with logistics and quality organizations to develop mitigation strategies.(remove if raw materials not part of role).

Meets with departments and units, understands needs and objectives., and assists with determining proper specifications or recommends alternatives.

Serves as a liaison between site planning, logistics, manufacturing, and customer service to maintain proper supply schedules to coordinate efficient delivery.

Develops performance measures, root cause analysis, and appropriate action plans.

Reviewing MRP to understand quantities required to be purchased, called in, brought forward, delayed or cancelled to meet an ever changing production plan.

Engaging with suppliers to achieve the production plan and ensuring raw material availability.

Placing and amending purchase orders on the ERP system

Assists with maintaining specific departmental components of the supply chain, such as inventory tracking, vendor management, process issues, information technology, and related areas.

Assists in managing new supply chain infrastructure and capabilities.

Maintain and creation of master data in ERP system

Assists with analyzing site capacities and forecasts to determine production capabilities to meet demand.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Formal Education

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and experience.

One year of professional supply chain experience.

Knowledge & Experience

Providing professional supply chain activities;

Managing a supply chain process;

Resolving discrepancies and problems;

Developing and analyzing reports;

Complying with department policies and procedures;

PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required;

Communicating with co-workers and suppliers to provide and receive direction.

Knowledge of at least one ERP system

Assertiveness

Able to work under stressful situations
