We are currently looking for a Site Quality Manager to join us at our facility in Huthwaite (Nottinghamshire, England, UK)

The Site Quality Manager Reports to the Site Manager with functional guidance from EMEA Quality Manager and Is responsible for constantly improving local Quality performance and maintaining the QMS system. He / She defines and drives site-specific improvement projects with a quality focus on Product, Service, and Process excellence.

Key responsibilities:

The Site Quality Manager understands the different quality elements and issues of the production site facing multiple business support and works with the various functions on site to ensure effective processes and programs are in place to manage quality performance to improve customer satisfaction, reduce customer dissatisfaction and reduce cost of poor quality and drives quality improvement activities for product and processes in general. He/she is responsible for the E2E quality processes on site, and deals with certification and customer audits incl. local audit planning, preparation and non-conformity management:

 

· Quality System:

Responsible for effective and efficient site quality management related processes incl. internal audit process, site management review process.

Organizes certification, customer audits.

· Quality Mindset:

Drives Total Quality Culture at Site Level and Learning Organization Behaviors, ensures Quality Improvement Process is established and followed.

· Product Consistency and Designed-in Quality:

o Analyzes trends from internal and external Quality Incidents for Raw Material, intermediates and finished products as well as service processes.

o Defines and drives Site Quality Improvement Projects and supports implementation of global standards.

o Initiates analysis of Capability, ensures fulfilment of MSA’s, and supports standardization across the Liquid Network

o Improves the effectiveness of Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) Investigations leading by example and training.

o Improves the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans, and the verification of those actions.

o Ensures process in place to update FMEA’s based on learning from incidents, and supports FMEA’s reviews.

· Customer facing activities:

Supports functions with Quality related customer issues or requests (review of QAA`s, review of customer communication in case of incidents..), if needed participates in customer visits.

· Site Quality metrics:

Ensures reporting of site quality metrics, and leads site quality management review.

Ensures site quality targets are defined in line with regional and business needs.

· Knowledge/Competency:

Ensures process in place to train and retrain the organization on quality related processes and tools (e.g. RCFA, Automotive Core Tools).

· Incoming goods

o Incoming verification of raw material, trade goods

o Complaint management with suppliers

o Analytical service with test methods for raws

o Crater tests on MRO

o Competence & equipment maintenance for QC -test for TH

Key requirements:

· At least 4-6 years of experience as a Quality Manager, within the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Automotive, Chemical, Manufacturing or similar industries.

· Degree / engineering qualified

· Fundamental knowledge of QMS requirements (ISO/IATF/VDA)

· Strong track record of delivering results (working towards KPIs)

· Green Belt certified, 6 Sigma or other agile frameworks

· Written and spoken English, local language.
