We are a company that forms successful partnerships with customers and are now recruiting a Quality Hygiene Technician to join our paint manufacturing facility in Stowmarket and support the vital work of our Quality Team.

As a Quality Hygiene Technician will help with key day to day activities, such as completing finished product and raw material testing, carrying out investigations into customer complaints and assisting in the implementation of projects in Quality Control. You will provide admin support to our Quality Self-Assessment programme and collaborate on monitoring, measuring and reviewing internal processes that affect the quality of our products and services. You will be involved in sampling finished product and raw material to meet bacterial and quality checks as well as in interpreting results to highlight on site issues on site and initiating improvement actions. You will also communicate findings and plan corrective actions, if needed, for customer complaints as well as assist in the implementation of ad hoc projects.

You will have a basic understanding of CI methodology, and ideally, a background in Science and Maths. You must have good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at every level. PC literate, you will have a good understanding of web-based technology too. You will also be good at building relationships and enjoy a collaborative working environment. Critical you will be committed to developing a technical career.

Some experience working in a manufacturing environment would be preferable.
