About You

An opportunity has arisen for a proactive individual, who enjoys a busy environment and is methodical in their approach to work, to join our Production Team. The Production Operative role works across a variety of units, operating numerous types of equipment to weigh, measure, mix and blend raw materials to produce inks. You’ll work closely with Sales processing, Warehousing, Delivery Team and Laboratory staff to fulfil customer orders. Due to the nature of our business you’ll need to be able to work shifts and be available for overtime as and when needed.

Key Duties:

·Manufacturing and packaging of inks & coatings by following safe systems of work or batch ticket instructions.

·Collecting and weighing materials, following recipes, operating machinery, mixing, milling, filtering and packing of ink products

·Driving fork lift trucks

·General housekeeping (keeping a clean working environment)

·Working in a team with other production and technical staff

·Other general production related activities as instructed by the Production Manager
