Background Checks
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will need to complete background checks including a DBS check and a full 5 years’ employment/educational references – these will need to be completed before the successful candidate can start the role.
About the role
This role will be primarily Liverpool based but occasional travel to our Head Office in Bar Hill, CB 238TU, will be required.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist with a proven track record in ERP implementation within a process manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be an expert in driving continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging their deep understanding of process improvement methodologies and strong analytical skills to foster a culture of innovation and efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuous Improvement Facilitation: Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, standardizing processes, and championing a culture of innovation and excellence throughout the organization.
- ERP Implementation: Play a key role in the ERP implementation project, focusing on planning, requirements gathering, global design documentation, and testing, all while ensuring alignment with continuous improvement goals.
- Process Analysis & Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for optimization and automation that align with continuous improvement objectives.
- Change Management: Design and implement effective change management strategies to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technologies, with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, SMEs and Global Process Owners across departments, including IT, operations, finance, and supply chain, to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives and ensure seamless implementation.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple continuous improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- About You: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in business process improvement with a strong focus on ERP implementation.
- Proven experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion (preferred), SAP, or MS Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of process manufacturing principles and expertise in process improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project management or Continuous Improvement certification (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
