CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Manage the GSC training process for the Sheffield site, ensuring world class delivery of training

Ensure training matrices for employees are up to date, with regular job rotation to maintain key skills and flexibility

Sheffield site Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) pillar lead in line with Sherwin Williams global Standard Work project

Comply with ISO auditing and take appropriate action to comply with findings

Conduct training reviews with current trainees and take appropriate action to complete training

Drive continuous improvement through constant review of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, assisting world class operational performance through process improvement

Write new Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions to Sherwin Williams standard templates

Deliver corporate training, including HSE, and ensure full compliance for the Sheffield site

Support installation and commissioning of new equipment through building of training programmes

Play an active role in the Sherwin Williams Management of Change process for new equipment and processes

Work alongside HR to promote and provide support to apprentices with their learning and training

Work alongside the management team to futureproof the business for further training and flexibility

Play an active role in the induction on new starters into Sherwin Williams Sheffield

Any Other Adhoc Duties As Required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Experience

Knowledge of computer systems (word/excel)

Experience of designing and delivering training

Technical/Skill Requirements

Communication skills

Formal training qualification and advantage
