Farrow and Ball – National Account Manager, Field Based, (Maternity Cover – 1 Year)We are currently looking for a knowledgeable individual to join our UK Sales team as a National Account Manager. We are offering this position on a full-time basis covering maternity leave, working remotely.Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients.The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.The key to our success is our passionate craftsmen, showroom teams and support functions who ensure that our customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.As the National Account Manager, you will support the Senior National Account Manager and develop effective and productive relationships at a store and regional level across all three accounts in order to meet KPIs and demands of the business.What we expect from you as a National Account Manager.Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for the day-to-day operational queries, taking a solution focused approach to resolve in a timely manner
  • Have a sound knowledge of all customers goals, objectives, ways of working to optimise the relationship and the performance of the accounts
  • Supporting the Senior National Account Manager in the development of joint annual business plans
  • Assisting with the collation of presentations and follow up actions from meetings to buying teams and key stake holders
  • Support SNAM with post launch/promo evaluations and identifying key learnings/recommendations for improvements
  • Identifying and proposing opportunities for incremental sales growth
  • Supporting the roll out and performance of ICT (where applicable)
  • Collation of competitor activity, along with the promotional calendar records.
  • Preparing and conducting regional review meetings
  • Work towards KPIs, measuring and optimising range performance at SKU level
  • Visiting account stores to build and maintain strong relationships, maintain high presentation standards in store, identify training opportunities and capturing customer feedback
  • Support in the preparation of weekly/monthly reports across all three accounts
  • Maintain accurate Store Audit data to drive the KPIs on in-store presence and range performance
  • Working collaboratively across internal functions ensuring excellent communication and smooth operation:

Key Attributes:

  • Experience of working in a multi-national “big box” retailing environment as well as knowledge of the independent national accounts
  • Proven track record of sales growth through fulfilling strategic actions plans and building influential commercial relationships
  • Great relationship builder
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative
  • Excellent analytical skills with high numerical and forecasting/planning ability
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great presentation skills
  • Industry knowledge is highly desirable
