Having gained extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a COMAH / Major Hazard site, you are now seeking your next senior level engineering role. This Polymer and Services Engineering Lead with a world expert in making coatings is the opportunity you are looking for. We are now recruiting a Polymer and Services Engineering Lead to become the Responsible Engineer for the delivery and continuous improvement of engineering and maintenance activities within our Polymer Plant and Central Engineering/Services Areas in Felling.

Polymer and Services Engineering Lead – The Role

  • Ensure the on-time delivery of all aspects of engineering/maintenance for areas of responsibility within our polymer plant and across engineering services.
  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Guarantee that all assets are reliable and safe to operate.
  • Audit engineering processes/systems identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement & maintain continuous improvement of engineering processes/systems.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate/statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Support training activities to maximise individual performance.
  • Inspires commitment to our purpose, vision, strategy, core principles, values and leadership behaviours.

Polymer And Services Engineering Lead – About You

  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a COMAH / Major Hazard site preferred.
  • Qualified Chartered Engineer (IMechE) or working towards qualification.
  • Familiar with Asset Management Systems such as ISO55000
  • Experience with AUTOCAD
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
  • Good at building relationships and solving problems.
  • Understands the importance of keeping a safe working environment.
