£15,840 per annum + Relocation allowance** + Benefits + 25 days (pro-rata)’ Holiday + Bank Holidays

These Industrial Placement opportunities within our Paints business are geared towards providing you with challenging experiences. You could be involved in lowering our carbon footprint, reducing the range of raw materials we use or identifying opportunities to leverage economies of scale. Whatever projects you are involved in you will be mentored by experienced Supply Chain professionals who will encourage you to put academic theory in practice. We expect to build your competences and business skills as well as develop your practical abilities while you are with us. To be considered you must be a high achiever expecting to attain a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent* in either Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or Process & Electrical). You must also have achieved a minimum 300 UCAS points or equivalent*** as well as speak fluent English and have strong interpersonal skills.

Specific Job Description:

  • Be working within a high performing Decorative Paints factory on various day to day activities.
  • Investigative work involved with breakdowns within the plant and the efficiency of the plant and process overall.
  • Involvement in new upcoming projects within the site both business and engineering areas, covering transferable skills across all factors of a business as a whole.
  • Opportunity to enhance and develop current site processes.
  • Freedom to present any project ideas and where appropriate, take ownership of the project. Developing project management skills and learning along the way.
