products, including chemicals, construction chemicals, agricultural solutions, dispersions and pigments, pest control solutions, plastics,
polyurethanes systems, leading edge coating products, mining and water treatment chemicals. We manufacture performance chemicals,
polyurethane systems and pest control solutions.
Responsibilities
In this role the main objective will be to gain and develop new, as well as to retain existing BASF Refinish brand customers. The core activities will be to-
Retain / develop BASF Refinish brand sales within Commercial Vehicle End Users.
Gain and develop new customers in the Commercial Vehicle Sector.
Identify and satisfy technical and training needs of new and existing customers.
Report activity on a regular basis. Ensure company procedures are followed and documented.
Plan and deliver ongoing support to end user accounts from a technical perspective – implementing new products, fault finding, colour issues etc.
Promote BASF Refinish Brands within the chosen Distribution network and work with distribution network to grow sales of BASF Refinish Brands.
Oversee product trials in customer premises and carry out new customer installations.
Qualifications
Educated to G.C.S.E Level as a minimum (O’Level).
5 Years Technical Sales Experience in Automotive Refinish preferably in CV Sector.
Excellent communication skills, conflict management and customer focus are core competencies.
Must be able to work in a team as well as display entrepreneurial actions.
Strong work organization skills are essential coupled with the personal drive to achieve.
Must be fluent in English and have a valid driving licence.
The role is field based with a home office.
