Jotun in the UK

Our Flixborough site is the heart of our sales and manufacturing operation in the UK and is highly influential within Jotun Paints (Europe) Ltd. We have been successfully producing paints and coatings here since 1989.

In order to help us succeed in the next stage of our operations strategy, we are seeking highly motivated and committed individuals to join us as Factory Operatives.

We are currently recruiting for 12 fixed-term roles until the end of December 2022.

The Role

As a member of the team, you will produce high quality marine and protective coatings.

Attention to detail is a key requirement of the role due to the need to follow raw material preparations, as well as production and filling instructions.

Candidates will also need a good standard of literacy and numeracy.

Experience of working in manufacturing is preferred but previous experience of working in the paint industry is not necessary as we have a strong commitment to training and development with our 7-step training process.

FLT licence desirable but not essential.

Shift Pattern

Weekly rotating shifts (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday).

For suitable candidates only – there may also be a night shift opportunity available (10pm-6am, Sunday to Thursday)

Salary Package

For rotating shifts, we offer a starting salary of £25,570 per annum, which includes shift allowance.

For night shift work, we offer a starting salary of £28,905 per annum, which includes shift allowance.
