Team Management/ Leadership
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Leads by example.
- Can do attitude
- Coaches and supports the team, providing a first point of escalation.
- Holds weekly team meetings and 121s with direct reports to ensure appropriate communication and that objectives are on track.
- Provides the team with a clear sense of direction and purpose
- Supports others on achieving goals and overcoming resistance
- Monitors day to day performance of the team to ensure timetable / required outcomes will be met.
- Ensures reporting and monitoring of day-to-day activities and resulting actions as required.
- Ensures any process documentation is maintained and saved securely.
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring SLAs are met by the team
Teamwork / Service: Ensuring the below objectives are being met by the team.
- Running reports and checks to ensure data accuracy
- Working with data extracts in a variety of formats
- Compiling supporting documentation around the data cleanse activities.
- Creating an audit trail for any changes or amendments to vendor master records
- Preparing reports or data in a specific format as required.
- Collaborating, liaising, and working closely with other regional teams.
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with internal stakeholders.
Formal Education
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required
- Finance or business-related degre
- other relevant professional qualification (e.g. AAT)
Required
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of master data management for vendors/customers
- Experience of leading & managing a team
- Fluent in English – Oral and written
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized, self-motivated, able to think and plan operationally
- Capability to analyze information quickly and make informed decisions.
- Ability to manipulate data from multiple complex sources.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
Preferred
- Technology aware, can manipulate or learn quickly digital tools.
- Oracle or other major ERP experience would be highly beneficial
- Has worked with complex processes and cross functional teams within a global or EMEA service
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and technologies
