£57,000 – £60,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits

Altrincham, Cheshire

This new role of Integrated Data Lead with AkzoNobel could be the opportunity you are looking for. The successful candidate will be integral in improving how we use, connect and control our data within the Dulux Decorator Centre business. As Integrated Data Lead you will be part of a support team, skilled in a variety of disciplines who are focussed on supporting our ever-growing retail stores network in the UK.

As Integrated Data Lead you will operate internally, externally and internationally to contribute to the transformation of every stage of our data and analytics across our Dulux Decorator Centre business. You will define and manage our data strategy including our change agenda, moving from a variety of reporting silos to an integrated, shared resource that generates real strategic value. In this strategic role you will head a team of specialists focused on providing connections and insights on everything from operational performance and risk management to the Management Team’s strategy and vision. We will look to you to manage a wide range of stakeholders and shape our central data strategy. This will involve working with data owners and group IM to agree consistent approaches to data definition, storage, extraction and management. You will also devise and apply innovative modelling tools, develop standards and guidelines, and present your research to senior colleagues. Critically, you will encourage the use of data to fuel evidence-based decisions in every facet of our work and be at the heart of developing capability across colleagues.

Used to influencing and driving change internally and with 3rd party suppliers, you will be fluent in SQL, SOA and web services as well as writing complex SQL queries. You will be proficient in system integration design and development and experienced in building and managing across several BI platforms. You will also be a gifted SAP & Microsoft Dynamics AX user. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment too.

A change or project management qualification, such as Agile or Prince2 would be highly valuable.
