£30,000 to £32,000pa depending on experience

An experienced continuous improvement practitioner with a background in a relevant industry, you are now looking to develop your career in a business that offers roles with breadth, depth of scope and impact. We are now looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Specialist to help deliver a world class CI culture across line operations and manufacturing at our Stowmarket production site.

As Continuous Improvement Specialist you will help build CI capabilities and mindset across all operational areas by promoting and instilling a passion for continuous improvement in our daily operation. This will involve identifying training needs as well as developing standard operating procedures and CI processes. Your end goal will be to improve our operating against Key Performance Indicators across the site. We will look to you maintain your knowledge of Lean and CI methodologies and be able to teach, train and coach others. Collaborating with colleagues, you will support the creation and improvements of standardised work for new and existing equipment on the plant as well as ensure that full training materials are available. You will also make sure existing CI and development processes are working as expected by completing regular process confirmations.

Of graduate calibre, you will have worked in a relevant industrial environment as part of a Continuous Improvement team. An Accredited Lead Practitioner Green Belt, you will be used to applying statistical process control techniques. You will also have knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or TPM. An effective coach, you will also possess excellent communication and influencing skills. You will enjoy a collaborative and supporting work environment too. PC literate, you will be customer focused, highly organised and good at resolving problems too.
