About the role

Reporting to the Group Sourcing Director and working within the Group Sourcing Team, this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring continued success of the Domino Business through responsibility and delivery of the Fluids Sourcing Strategies.

In this role you will have a chance to drive Global sourcing projects and improvement programmes to ensure that solutions that help Domino achieve their aspirations in terms of technology, resources, capability, and cost. You will be responsible for identifying and developing the optimal supply base, ensuring that new sources meet Group selection criteria and that best possible pricing and contractual terms are obtained for local and export requirements.

As an expert in the field Fluids Chemical Supply, you will be expected to provide leadership in sourcing, purchasing and supplier management best practice. You will need to demonstrate inquisitive nature and be able to conduct thorough research of the emerging trends and techniques in sourcing and purchasing practice and drive the adoption of appropriate practices to refine and deliver strategic objectives.

About you

You would ideally be degree qualified (Chemical Background is desirable), and/or have equivalent qualification e.g., CIPS/MCIPS. You must have a considerable experience of working in a strategic sourcing role within a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities regarding management of complex relationships and negotiating contracts.

The successful candidate will have an experience of working with multi-functional teams, across different countries and cultures; be tenacious, resilient, and willing to take initiative for implementing changes and best practices as well as passionate about continuous improvement to achieve efficient and sustainable performance of the business. The development of the Asia Supply Base will play an increasing part in this role and the willingness to travel and operate in this area will be essential.
