Notting Hill showroom – 40 hours per week

The Assistant Showroom Manager will support the Showroom Manager in managing, motivating and developing the team to ensure that targets are exceeded and act as a role model to the team. You will also be required to deputise in the absence of the Showroom Manager.


  • Assisting the team in delivering budgeted sales and targets
  • Actively developing and growing sales opportunities
  • Ability to multi-task and to assume temporary management role as needed
  • Provide leadership for the showroom, setting an excellent example for the store and inspiring the showroom team to achieve
  • Responsibility for running the back of house and motivating on the sales floor
  • Proactively selling the colour consultancy service and providing accurate advice on colour and suitability
  • Helping to train new starters and on-board teams
  • Understanding our clients, knowing their preferences and offering technical advice when necessary
  • Maintaining the showroom in accordance with the visual merchandising standards cascaded by Commercial Operations and Marketing teams
  • Assisting with showroom stock deliveries and replenishment of the showroom floor

  • Technical knowledge of paint and wallpaper is desirable
