Owing to our innovative products and great team, our business continues to grow, and we are pleased to announce an opportunity for an Analyst Global Procurement Services based in Foots Cray, London Borough of Bexley.
The Role
The position as Analyst Global Procurement is an ‘in-office’ role and is ideal for somebody with an interest in learning more about global business processes, procurement practices and the global chemical industry. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, friendly, and welcoming team. This is a varied detailed role which brings together aspects of finance, commerce, International trade, logistics, demand planning, foreign exchange and other business areas. Significant levels of training and support are provided continuously
Responsibilities
- Responding to requests from Sun Chemical plants all over the world
- Communicating with a varied community of internal colleagues and our global supplier network.
- Analysis of supplier price lists and supplier legal structures
- Replication of that information on Sun’s ERP systems
- Use of various e-tools to deliver spend analytics
- Building, validating and loading data structures that deliver accuracy and automation in Sun’s global plant network
Qualifications / Experience Critical For The Job Holder
- Previous work experience in a similar role in a customer or supplier facing environment
- English and Math’s GCSE Level 4 and above (equivalent to grade C)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ideally intermediate excel skills
- Clarity in written and verbal communication
- An ability to focus on detail, sustain concentration and operate as a team contributor and as an individual
