This role sits within our Decorative Paints division selling market leading products for the Dulux Decorating Center, many of which are household names you’ll be familiar with like Dulux and Cuprinol.
As an Account Manager your daily work will utilise your skills to maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships to maximise the potential of our domestic and commercial painting contractors.
The ability to deliver outstanding customer service levels and deliver on commitments is essential to ensure the market continues to use our products above all others. One way you can support this is through developing close working relationships with your customers to understand their needs, goals and longer-term ambitions and demonstrate to them how partnering with you can support them to achieve these.
Creating brilliant customer working relationships also includes working in collaboration with colleagues in our Dulux Decorator Centres (DDC). In this role you will support delivering profitable growth by driving sales through our own brand DDC store network. Focussing on delivering effective customer management by designing and executing jointly agreed sales plans you will positively influence share of wallet growth and deliver against key sales KPIs as well as revenue and margin targets. You will have a range of tools and incentives to support you as well as training and development opportunities to support your personal development.
To be successful it is important that you have a customer focused mindset, an outgoing, positive attitude and the ability to build strong customer relationships and manage key stakeholders. You may have a background in sales or account management but given our passion around the development of people, we will support, coach and enable you to grow your sales & negotiation skills, so any commercial experience is considered. You must have a full driving license, which is required for duties in the role.
