Farrow and Ball – Warehouse Administrator, WimborneWe are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our Warehouse team in Wimborne as a Warehouse Administrator. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.The key to our success is our passionate craftsmen, showroom teams and support functions who ensure that our customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.As Warehouse Administrator (Warehouse Admin Support), you will join and support a large, highly productive team of Operatives responsible for ensuring our products are organised, handled, and dispatched in a safe and timely manner. Your role will be fast paced, focusing on the smooth operation of all administrative tasks to ensure our Warehouse Teams run effectively.What We Expect From You As a Warehouse Administrator.Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Warehouse Supervisors prioritising orders and time bound requests
  • Effectively reporting out of stock items to the Operations team daily
  • Creating shop orders for ‘splitting’ tins that are urgent to fulfil out of stock
  • Reporting IT and system issues to external support contacts
  • Reporting any Power truck failures to external support services
  • Supporting Operational Uniform requests from order through to distribution
  • Supporting and investigating complaints and maintaining the ‘WH complaint analysis’ spreadsheet
  • Monitor incoming orders, liaising with WH Supervisors & identifying orders of concern
  • Overseeing and managing IFS, ensuring that scheduled tasks run as planned, manual tasks are run when required
  • Managing unreserved orders through to reserved status, consolidate pick lists where required ensuring that procedures are followed
  • Liaising with Customer Services Admin so that order amendments, queries and special requests are processed effectively
  • Supporting stock takes and stock adjustments as required to ensure integrity is maintained
  • Setting up new stock locations as required
  • Investigating stock variances and report accordingly to WH supervisor/Assistant Manager

Key Attributes:

  • Prior experience in a similar role supporting Warehouse Operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft software such as Outlook & Excel
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Naturally collaborative worker
  • Forward thinking and adaptable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
