In Crown Paints, part of Hempel A/S, we are committed to providing expert advice on our products and also ensuring our products stand the test of time. We are therefore looking for a dedicated person to join us as a Technical Consultant.

You’ll Also Support In Critical Business Areas Such As
As a Technical Consultant in the Crown Paints Research & Development Team, you will be responsible for the deliverance of first class technical advice regarding the application and use of our products in the market.
- Product evaluation
- Complaint investigation
- Preparing marketing support samples
- Analysis and reports
What We Are Looking For
As a successful candidate you will have a background as a painter and decorator and have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will know which product type to use in which scenario and able to impart that knowledge onto colleagues and customers. You thrive on working in a practical role, but are also able to compile reports utilising computer systems and technology. You’ll also have experience of painting and decorating commercial premises to a high standard.

The interview process will consist of an onsite 1st stage technical assessment centre, likely to take 2 – 3 hours followed by a final competency based interview and site tour which will take roughly 2 hours.
