To support the HR Shared Services (HRSS) Manager in managing business processes and continuous improvement projects within our regional HRSS.
This role requires someone that is highly organised, can manage projects and has a desire to drive change through continuous improvement. You will be responsible for providing HR/HRSS colleagues and business stakeholders with improved HRSS operational effectiveness through continuous improvement projects.
You will act as the regional super user for HR Systems (HR Cloud/ORC, Dayforce, ServiceNow & OnBase) and support data management, correction and audit practices. This role will champion all aspects of best operational practice including process review, implementation of continuous improvement approaches and simplification of our service experience. You will have responsibility for the governance of HRSS processes, continuous improvement projects and standardizing HRSS tools, templates, and access to information (SharePoint).
Responsibilities
- Support regional HR/HRSS improvement projects both long-term or ad-hoc to relentlessly drive operational efficiency, create scalable solutions, and enhance customer experience.
- Provide support to continuous improvement projects from conception to delivery to ensure maximum benefits are realised. Partner with all lines of HR such as HRSS, HR Operations, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, HRIT to identify needs or opportunities for process improvements, and gain knowledge to implement the change;
- Work in collaboration with IT and the relevant functional areas/teams to ensure that all utilized HR Systems are performing as required and all changes are tested and verified before implementation into the live environment.
- Play role of the HR Systems super user and provide subject matter expertise to HR/HRSS team members.
- Support annual key business processes reliant on HR data such as annual bonus and merit cycles.
- Support design and development of necessary tools to support other functions in order to promote internal resources and improve knowledge around HRSS processes.
- Work in collaboration with HRSS Leadership to ensure that all standard operating procedures are kept up to date, along with relevant training materials.
- Provide/present regular overall process performance updates to HRSS Manager, including escalated issues and major change requests along with impact assessment overviews.
- Support HRSS Manager to ensure on-going learning and development of HRSS team members in Lean/Continuous improvement is in place.
- Ensure the highest level of accuracy for data entry in HR Systems is in place by utilising the HRSS data audit framework and performing regular data audits and root cause analysis, using information to identify issues and implement actions to deliver sustainable improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships outside of HR organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or IT related field.
- Experience of using LEAN or equivalent CI methodologies.
- Understanding of IT systems and applications used to automate business processes.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office – Word, Power Point, Visio.
- Advanced experience of Microsoft Office – Excel.
- Strong problem-solving ability, analytical and numeracy skills
- Be fluent in English
