Supply Chain Planner – Flooring

Reports To

Supply Chain Manager

Mission Of The Role

To provide and effective service for Flooring customers, to support growth across the market by delivering serviced orders in line the the customers and business requirements.

Responsibilities

To Carry out the planning process for Flooring orders in line with customer requirements through the effective use of MRP and low stock reports ensuring Orders are serviced on time.

Assign the daily plan to production operators to ensure optimum production levels

Address issues as they arise and review opportunities to minimize disruption

Review IQR and monthly reports to avoid obsolesces

Purchasing review and requirements of FG buys to ensure timely supply

Closely work with the Customer Service Team on their requirementsand expectation of orders

Complete and review PDH workflows in a line with product set up and new SKU requirement, and work with the MDM team data audits

Review and Provide data on not shipped / late orders for daily OTIF reporting

Ensure Optimum stock levels are in place in line with the given forecast requirements

Involvement in Flooring Portfolio reviews and its actions

Provide cover and assist with P&M Planning

Involvement in continuous improvement projects and processes

Participate in Monthly rework meetings do drive down obselcnce

Provide information in Export meetings inline with customer demands

Collaberate with multiple departments – Sales, Production, Warehouse, Quality

Timely response of NCRs and Discoveries

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications/ Experience:

Experience in Planning

Good understanding of the Industry

5 GSCEs Including Math’s

Strong IT Skills

Knowledge

Knowledge of Production Planning and MRP

Experience in Oracle

Knowledge of Excel / Powerpoint

Personal Qualities And Behaviours

Strong Organization and Problem solving skills

Metodical approach to work and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Flexibility / Adaptability
