Parafix, in collaboration with Addev, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Supply Chain Director to join our dynamic team. This senior management role is pivotal in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with our business goals and objectives. The successful candidate will lead a team of procurement, planning, and warehouse, and professionals at our Lancing site and guide the supply chain community across Europe, particularly in France, the UK, and Poland.

Overview:

As the Supply Chain Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination and integration of our supply chain activities, from procurement to delivery. You will lead a dedicated team across procurement, planning and warehouse. You will also work closely with various departments to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Parafix Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement, warehouse and planning professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and improve lead times.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, compliance and contract management, to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
  • Co-ordinate Production planning processes, balancing needs of customers and production workload/capacity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, sales, and finance, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, such as inventory turnover, and on-time delivery, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimisation.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks by identifying potential disruptions, implementing contingency plans, and establishing strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.

Transversal Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and improve supply chain macro processes (S&OP, warehouse and logistics management, procurement, sales administration).
  • Track KPI performance, identify gaps, and develop resolutions.
  • Align and define the group roadmap, particularly focusing on the digital transformation of solutions developed at the corporate level.
  • On-board new supply chain managers.
  • Serve as the point of contact for corporate operational excellence and IT performance project definition and deployment.
  • Conduct monthly online meetings and quarterly face-to-face meetings.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, with an experience of driving operational excellence and cost savings.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, demand planning software, and data analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a culture of collaboration and drive results.
