Are you ready to make a significant impact on a dynamic and growing company? We are seeking a talented Shared Data Platforms Manager to join our IT department.
This role is an inward facing manager, organizer and facilitator who will work within the project and collaborates with the rest of the project team. This individual will be responsible for facilitating team activities, developing and tracking metrics, and reporting all project activities for a delivery team. Encouraging teams to adhere to Agile values and team norms will be a crucial component of this position.
(Note that it is a remote role with occasional office visits if needed.)
Responsibilities
- Manage a skilled development team in an agile environment, encouraging adherence to Agile principles and team standards
- Oversee full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, while managing risks, timelines, and budgets
- Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to ensure project progress, resource allocation, and alignment with business priorities
- Promote team culture and accountability, providing mentorship and fostering open communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- rack team performance using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Planview) and ensure quality through process monitoring
- Provide regular training, conduct performance reviews, and hold one-on-one meetings to support team growth and development
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective project delivery
- Ensure compliance with development standards, including tools, technologies, and collaboration with global teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent IT experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT and/or business, including managing IT projects
- Strong background in technology and business, covering strategy, design, implementation, and operations in application development
- Proficient in Agile project management methodologies and development patterns
- Knowledge of solution architecture, design, and databases (SQL, Oracle)
- Hands-on experience with tools like Tableau, Planview, GitHub, and Jenkins CI
- Familiarity with source control systems and software development practices
- Experience with Oracle Product Data Hub and Semarchy MDM tools
