Responsibilities

  • To develop new products for use in the functional coatings market that are aligned with the company strategy.
  • Developing and maintaining application testing protocols; maintenance and SOP development of equipment (e.g. printers).
  • daily tasks in the laboratory as required.
  • Developing full understanding of printheads and formulation effects to improve primer performance in the target application.
  • Product Development
  • Working on the formulation and research of new and existing products.
  • Application of own scientific knowledge in problem solving situations
  • Provide updates of project progress, including r egular communication with project management and stake holders
  • Technical Support including travelling to trials on occasion.
  • Product Compliance
  • Safety Commitment

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience Critical for the job Holder

  • Proven track record in successful delivery of projects
  • Fundamental understanding of formulating principles behind inks and coatings ideally inkjet and other digital applications.
  • Knowledge of printing and application technology.
  • Degree in Chemistry/Physics or related discipline
