Responsibilities
- To develop new products for use in the functional coatings market that are aligned with the company strategy.
- Developing and maintaining application testing protocols; maintenance and SOP development of equipment (e.g. printers).
- daily tasks in the laboratory as required.
- Developing full understanding of printheads and formulation effects to improve primer performance in the target application.
- Product Development
- Working on the formulation and research of new and existing products.
- Application of own scientific knowledge in problem solving situations
- Provide updates of project progress, including r egular communication with project management and stake holders
- Technical Support including travelling to trials on occasion.

Qualifications
Qualifications / Experience Critical for the job Holder
- Proven track record in successful delivery of projects
- Fundamental understanding of formulating principles behind inks and coatings ideally inkjet and other digital applications.
- Knowledge of printing and application technology.
- Degree in Chemistry/Physics or related discipline
