Job Overview
Summary:
  • Main purpose of the role is development of coating sales in the South West of England; through protecting and developing existing accounts and prospecting for and securing new business

  • Salary basic £40k, bonus, company car allowance and company benefits package, including private healthcare
Responsibilities:
  • Manage, maintain and be accountable for sales activities to meet targets
  • Develop strong client relationships to enhance the standing of the brand and to lead to profitable sales
  • Develop new sales leads and build a database of potential clients
  • Make outgoing sales calls to lapsed and potential new business clients to maximise revenue
  • Be knowledgeable about market, customers, competitors and products in order to sell solutions effectively
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation
  • Ensure sales administration activities (reports, meetings, plans etc.) are completed in an effective and timely manner
Requirements:
  • Practical application skills, including the ability to operate and demonstrate spray equipment and coating application
  • Proven experience working in a similar environment
  • Sound knowledge of coatings technology and its practical application under factory conditions
  • Sales training and experience, particularly in business-to-business benefit selling, territory plans, specifier selling and account management
  • Strong communication skills, with previous face to face experience
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Relationship building - account management and new business sales experience
  • Target driven
  • UK driving licence
