Role Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence across the UK. You will manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Represent Alberdingk UK at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales
  • Strong technical understanding of water-based resins, dispersions, or related products is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the UK and occasionally to international locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business
  • 3+ years’ of sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
