Farrow & Ball – Project Manager, Wimborne (Full-Time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager individual to join our Project Management team in Wimborne on a Fixed Term Contract.

As Project Manager you will manage multiple change projects across the business, on a global scale, based on the value-based prioritisation as set by the business, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget; whilst involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities of Project Manager

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties for flawless execution of projects
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation, escalating to Project Office Manager if bottlenecks occur
  • Following the Farrow & Ball change framework and governance to develop detailed plans
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation whilst facilitating project workshops, meetings, and post implementation reviews
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Performing risk management to minimise project risks and report. Escalating, as required, any concerns around project governance and deliverance
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Global business stakeholders and third parties
  • Engaging at the appropriate level to work cross functionally to ensure a robust and sustainable end to end solution is implemented
  • Providing regular project updates, through presentation, documentation and/or relevant systems
  • Ensuring Company values, goals and brand principles are considered throughout each project
  • Developing robust communication plans to ensure Global awareness at all stages

Your Key Attributes

  • Experience of working with project and change methodologies, preferably Agile
  • Understanding of specification preparation and process / procedure mapping
  • Strong track record of delivering to target, plan and tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • Relevant Project Management qualification
  • Professional qualification / practitioner in relation to change such as Six Sigma, LEAN etc. would be desirable
  • Can do attitude with flexibility and adaptability to different environments and varying priorities/objectives
  • Highly organised, capable of managing multiple and complex activities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective at building relationships and motivating others
  • Solutions and change orientated, able to challenge the status quo and apply influencing and persuading techniques
  • Able to troubleshoot and improvise with tools and resources available
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Team player, able to work cross-functionally and flexibly
