About the job
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a part time, job share basis. We are looking for someone between 19.5 – 24 hours, ideally working Tuesdays and Friday, with the 3 rd day being flexible. This is initially a fixed-term contract role until 30 April 2024.

Responsibilities
In the position of Project Management Officer you will be responsible for..
Develop project scope and plan
- Must include measurable deliverables
- Gain agreement with project sponsor and key stakeholders
- Organise project activities into manageable work efforts for team members and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in the project plan
- Implement Continuous Improvement (CI) practices in project execution
Continuous Improvement
- Coach the business teams in continuous improvement techniques and help them cascade this approach to their teams to develop a proactive continuous improvement culture
- Develop training programmes and undertake training in the use of continuous improvement tools
- Drive to find solutions through stakeholders and team members
- Promote an inquisitive mindset through project management and activities with the various business teams
Communication
- High levels of communication targeted at the appropriate audience
- Respond to stakeholder requests for information
- Agree regular timings for communication
- Maintain accurate and timely project plans, meeting notes, status reporting and other relevant project documentation
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings as required
Risk Management
- Identify and manage risks using SW available tools
- Escalate risks, issues and delays appropriately communicating potential impact to project(s)
Manage project administration and collect feedback for follow up
- Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels

Qualifications
The education, skills and experience we are ideally looking for…
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Technology Field
- Experience and knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (2-4 years project management experience)
- A highly motivated self starter capable of leading as well as adapting quickly to change
- A collaborative & professional approach with an amenable style
- Delivery focused – driven to deliver on commitments even when the situation is ambiguous and vague
- Good strategic appreciation whilst also demonstrating attention to detail
- A problem solver and independent thinker capable of delivering sound arguments
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills with ability to develop key relationships
Preferred:
- Fluency in continental European languages
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Professional qualifications in project management desired e.g. PMP, P3O, PRINCE 2, Agile project management
