Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join our growing printing ink and coating team.

Production Operative

Leeds LS11 5LQ

Full Time, Permanent

£23,500, plus overtime, profit-related bonus (up to 8%)

Pension, possible company shares (performance related)

40 hours per week, Mon Fri

Some overtime to be expected

Wikoff are a printing ink and coating company which opened March 2011 in the UK. We have customers in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France and Germany and due to rapid expansion, we currently have a vacancy for a hard-working Production Operative who are capable at using their own initiative as well as part of our small team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coating batch production; weighing, mixing and filling
  • Quality control of batches, including colour
  • Booking of batch tickets into our electronic system
  • Order picking and despatch
  • General warehouse duties

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Previous production experience
  • Ability to develop a good understanding of customers business
  • Good communication/organisational skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Driving license
  • Counterbalance fork life experience
  • Conscientious and reliable
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

Although full training will be given, experience in batch manufacture of the general chemicals industry is a distinct advantage for any candidate.
