Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customer (farmer and food value chain) needs and challenges to support growth of carbon farming, and create a roadmap for enhancing product offers and customer uptake in the carbon-based value chain.
- Manage the implementation of the carbon farming projects, ensuring activities and targets are met.
- Drive end-user activation and engagement within the UK & Ireland, executing the business strategy for hectare penetration, farmer adoption, sales, and retention rates.
- Provide high-quality customer service, assisting customers with onboarding, adoption recommendations, data ingest, and training on carbon programs.
- Support the Leadership Team with reporting on progress of carbon related sustainability plans and KPIs.
Please note: this role will include frequent travel to visit growers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in biological sciences or agronomy related subject.
- Several years of experience in marketing / marketing communications within the agricultural sector or another technically specialist industry.
- Understanding and experience of designing pilots that deliver stated customer outcomes in time and within budget.
- Strong organizational and workload management skills, combined with experience in managing projects. In addition to strong IT skills to effectively utilize digital tools and software.
- Ideally, you have commercial experience in the industry, preferably, working with growers on farm and/or distribution channels.
