The Role

Thanks to our innovative products and great team – we are proud that the business is continuing to grow, we now have an opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our professional Manufacturing team based in South Normanton, working a standard week Monday to Friday.

 

Role Expectations

 

  • Supervise Operations Environment and Equipment: Monitor and manage to meet quality standards & schedules.
  • Supervise Operations Processes: Monitor and manage the production operators to ensure products meet quality standards and schedules ensuring the effective control, flow of product around a site and delivery.
  • Team Management:  Assigning tasks, monitoring attendance, guidance & training, including the development of procedures to deliver safe working practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the shifts to maintain smooth operations.
  • Reporting: Ensuring appropriate data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion, ensuring the regular maintenance of all records to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and promote continuous improvement practices to enhance efficiency and productivity

 

Qualifications / Experience Critical for the job Holder

 

  • High level of PC literacy
  • Previous experience in leading a team of people in a manufacturing or related sector.
  • Experience of promoting safe working practices
  • IOSH Managing Safety or higher desirable.
