This is a full-time role but we will accept applications from the candidates willing to work at least the equivalent of 4 full days a week as a minimum.

About The Role

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Group Finance team at Domino Printing on a fixed-term maternity cover contract for approximately 12 months. In this role, you will support the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager by providing the business with management accounting support, reporting and financial analysis, as well as assisting with the annual planning process. Additional responsibilities include financial support to the Group R&D function with month end routines including project accounting. As a global business, this position offers the chance to collaborate with teams and management staff both in the UK and overseas.

You Can Expect To

Support the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager:

  • Prepare and maintain monthly Group results and reports for submission to senior management
  • Assist with updating and maintaining product cost models
  • Support the annual and 3-year planning processes
  • Update and maintain product cost models
  • Undertake business modelling and performance analysis as required

Act as a key Business Partner providing financial support to the CTO and Group R&D function in Domino:

  • Undertake month end R&D opex and provision reviews for DUK and R&D project accounting procedures for DUK, DLG (Germany) and DPA (Sweden)
  • Prepare the monthly Group project capitalisation report
  • Prepare, submit and present monthly reports to the Group R&D function including preparation of the annual and 3-year R&D opex and capex forecasts
  • Provide advice and support to non-finance managers and assist with continuous improvement projects and queries
  • Liaise with auditors as required

About you

You will be CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualified and ideally have demonstrated experience in industry and business partnering to senior management. What’s important is that you are self-motivated with a working style that is both communicative and collaborative and that you are also able to work independently to meet tight deadlines. You will be well organised with a methodical approach and have strong analytical skills alongside a high level of attention to detail.

This role would suit someone who’s proactive and highly capable when it comes to systems with a continuous improvement mindset. You should be proficient using Microsoft tools, especially Excel, and knowledge and experience of Oracle ERP system (or similar) and IBM Planning Analytics is advantageous but not essential.
